The title of this blog is inspired by “What did the Mother Tomato say to the Baby Tomato??” :)

I know, I know, I know… I’ve been busy and not really updating a lot. So, if it’s ok, here’s my quick summary in pictures… How about that for some ketch(ing)up? ;)

During the first week of March 09, I have gone to Hong Kong and back :) It’s an interesting city and I’ll write a short one about my capitvation with that city in another entry (I’ll link it up from here later ok?) In the meantime, here’s a picture of my HK travel girlies :) I’ve commented before that whenever I see this picture, I’m just AMAZED at how we’ve gotten to travel together… More details in the entry later… :)

Prettiest things :)

Then… Jas and I went Wakeboarding after I got back from HK… I’m working on the toe-side-back-into-the-wake-and-the-pop… because, I really want to try jumping!! But, but but…it’s sooooooooooo tiring! I need strong arms; I feel they are terribly weak now :( As it is, carrying the rice and oil from the supermarket in this family, is still being done by the men, then mum, then I’m the distant last… (tho’ I am the one who wakeboards in the family… seriously… Even I’m disappointed with myself…)

Riding… :)

Sometime in the 3rd week of March, I’ve been introduced to the Canopy Walk at Kent Ridge Park. It seemed like an unpromising morning:- not because of the company (*wink*), but because of the weather. It looked dreary and I recalled if anything was sunny, it was probably my over-chirpy-ness… I did wonder whether we were going to make it up that trail… but we did and got welcome by a green greeting (see the photo)!

Greenies

Typing “Canopy Walk Singapore” on google, you will be directed to the tourism site of Singapore. Apparently, there is a 9km trail spanning from Mount Faber to Telok Blangah to Kent Ridge Parks… and you know what else is cool at the Canopy Walk? It leads up to this place called Bukit Chandu, which used to be a WW2 site and 1,400 soldiers of the Malay Regiment fought in the Battle at Pasir Panjang… A Centre has been set up to commemorate these “Reflections at Bukit Chandu“. Maybe the pensive walk has made my eyes a tad more alert, and I saw some fallen flowers on the pathway… Macro-alert :)

I like this! It looks like a starfish, don’t you think?!
(Gosh Jaime! Stop thinking about diving!)

Heckers met at Sarah’s place… for her hen’s party of Wii and in Pjs… Yes… our dearest Sarah is getting married soon and it’s so soon… Just a few months back, I thought it was far away, but time has, once again, flown by… and not just Sarah is getting married, but Sarah’s also migrating for Sweden… I will miss her…

I stunt this from Sze’s shots
These girls I’ve known for 12 years…
And it’s beautiful, knowing that we share a deep friendship

Sarah… you’ve got a friend in me

Coldplay came… A one-night-only Concert… on a MONDAY (26th March 09 at the Indoor Stadium)… but it was excellent! Audrey and I had a blast! They gave us 2 solid hours of OUR songs! Yellow, Fix You, Viva la Vida, The Scientist…I had many photos, but I’ll give one meaningful one… because not anyone will have this :) Chris Martin was singing to ME (… oh alright… fine… and Audrey, and the guys on the same row as me… and the people behind me… and ok ok, the whole bloc… grrrr…)

Hello there! :)

So here’s the ketchup for now… More to come… Just give me time :) Gosh, I hate Writer’s Block… I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before… :)
